Tuesday, May 4, 2021

The Student Government Association at Sterling College has been busy this spring and that continues with an event open to the Sterling community, the Mental Health Awareness Fair. The Fair will take place on Saturday, May 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on East Cooper Lawn and will feature events such as a cake walk, face painting, pledge signing, art show, movies, snacks and other activities.  The event is free and open to the public.

The event was started in order to spread awareness about the importance of mental health. Many speakers are scheduled to talk throughout the day about the importance of mental, physical and spiritual health. Sterling College students Nicole Marin and Natalie Henning are coordinating the event.
