Sterling College proudly welcomes esteemed alumnus and retired Purdue University professor Dr. Stuart Robertson ’65 for a special presentation on Friday, September 27, at 3 p.m. in the Mabee Library. Dr. Robertson, a 1965 graduate, will share insights from his remarkable academic career and his significant donation of rare books to the College.

Beginning on Thursday, Sept. 26, alumni will travel back to Sterling College to experience the Homecoming 2024 festivities, many of which the community is invited to attend. Registration, tickets and additional information for all Homecoming events can be found at sterling.edu/homecoming.

Sterling College will host its Spiritual Emphasis Week on September 9-13. The featured speakers are the Rev. Dr. Don Davis and Paul Neustrom, author and speaker. Davis will be the featured speaker for chapel and the public is invited to attend on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Culbertson Auditorium. Neustrom, will be on the Sterling College campus for several Spiritual Emphasis Week events.

Sterling College successfully hosted its annual Warrior Welcome orientation for the incoming class of 2024, which took place across various campus locations from August 9 to August 21. The welcome event integrated new students into college life with a mix of academic and social activities.

Sterling College welcomed nine new faculty members to campus for the 2024-25 academic year. Classes begin on Wednesday, August 21.

“We are proud to welcome these full-time faculty and clinical instructors to the Sterling College family, and we are looking forward to how these individuals will engage and interact with the students we are here to serve,” said Dr. Ken Brown, vice president for academic affairs and dean of the College.
