Brett shares he grew up in a Christian home as the youngest of three children and has three nephews and one niece. He has always been passionate about learning and helping others learn, especially regarding math, so he began college with the goal of becoming a math professor. Brett received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Lynchburg and later received my PhD in Mathematics from the University of Kansas. Brett researched the stability of nonlinear waves that arise as solutions to partial differential equations; and enjoys presenting said research at conferences. He also enjoy tennis and video games.
