Katy Nininger

A 2013 graduate of Sterling College, Katy is excited to return to the college that played an important role in shaping who she is today. She earned her degree in Biology from Sterling and later completed a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Colorado Christian University. Over the past 12 years, she has had the opportunity to serve in private education as a teacher, coach, and administrator.

Sterling’s mission and vision have always meant a great deal to her. As a student, she was stretched, challenged, and encouraged to grow in ways that continue to impact her today. Now, she is grateful for the opportunity to give back and invest in the generations that are coming behind her.

She loves people and especially enjoys hearing the stories and testimonies of alumni—where life has taken them and how God is continuing to work in and through their lives. She is passionate about relationships and helping draw out the character, gifts, and purpose the Lord has placed within each person.

Outside of Sterling, she enjoys watching sports, listening to music, spending time with friends, investing in her family, and creating things in her woodshop. More than anything, she is grateful for the opportunity to build relationships, tell stories, and be part of what God is doing through Sterling College.
