About the Program
The sports management major combines courses from both the business and exercise science departments to prepare students to pursue a career in the sport industry. Students have the option of choosing from four concentrations to supplement the major and assist in focusing on a particular career track within the vast sport industry. Although the concentration option is recommended, it is not required.
Students will have the opportunity to actively engage in the sport industry through class projects and volunteer opportunities with the Sterling College athletic department, the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference and other sport organizations in the Sterling area.
