Visit Event FAQ's:

Overnight Events (Preview Weekends) generally start Sunday at 3:30pm and last through Monday afternoon. Check-in is located in Cooper Hall. You will receive an email with a campus map and more detailed information a week before your event. You can view a sample schedule here: Preview Weekend Sample Schedule.
Who should I contact if I need to cancel or reschedule my visit?
Please contact the Sterling College Visit Office to cancel or reschedule your visit at visit@sterling.edu or (620) 278-4314.
Is there a cost to attend a Visit Event?
There is no cost to attend. All meals will be provided.
If you would like to purchase any Sterling College merchandise when you visit, bring along cash, check, or a credit card to shop in the Sterling College Bookstore.
Can I schedule a scholarship audition during a Visit Event?
Yes! Advance registration is required. Please contact our Visit Office at visit@sterling.edu to book your audition. We schedule auditions for the following areas:
Auditions: Choir, Instrumental Music, Ministry Teams, Theatre
Portfolio Review: Art & Design, Cinema/Multimedia Production, Debate & Forensics, Journalism, Technical Theatre.
I’d like to make alterations to the Visit Event schedule, can this be accommodated?
Due to the size of these events, there is limited opportunity to make changes to the schedule. Contact the Visit Coordinator with your specific questions.

We want your Sterling College visit to be a great experience for you and your family so if you need something different than what is offered during a Visit Event, please consider scheduling a Personal Visit on a separate date.
What events are there for parents?
Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend any or all portions of our Visit Events. Depending on the event, there are sessions available for only parents.
What if I want to visit campus but cannot come to a Visit Event?
If you cannot attend one of our Visit Events, please register for a personal visit.
I have a question that hasn’t been answered above: who should I contact?
All questions concerning Visit Events should be addressed to our Visit Coordinator. The Visit Coordinator is generally available Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Central Time. You can also email visit@sterling.edu or (620) 278-4314.
For Overnight Events:
Where will I stay?
Students: Students will stay in the Residence Halls with a Sterling College Student Host. Any student staying overnight must submit a signed Overnight Waiver.
Waivers will be emailed a week or two prior to the event or can be downloaded, signed, scanned, and submitted to visit@sterling.edu now: Sterling College Overnight Waiver.
Parents: Parents and any other guests will need to make their own arrangements off campus. Our recommended lodging can be found online. (Be sure to ask about any Sterling College discounts!): Lodging near Sterling College.
What should I bring with me?
