By filling out the form below, you are submitting the necessary information for the Office of Marketing and Communications to generate a press release to send to your hometown papers about your graduation. After you fill out the questions and click submit, you will receive a confirmation email that your information was received.

We will email a completed press release to the provided email address within 5-7 business days after commencement. You may forward this press release to any papers in your hometown community. To submit an optional picture of yourself, please follow the submission guidelines requested by your hometown paper.  

NOTE: Sterling College will automatically send a list of graduates to the local papers. If you DO NOT live in one of these communities or the towns covered by these newspapers, then you will need to fill out the form below and then send in your own release. (Example: Nickerson is covered by The Hutchinson News.) Local towns covered include: Clarion, Ellinwood, Ellsworth, Great Bend, Harvey County, Hesston, Hoisington, Hutchinson, Larned, Lindsborg, Little River, Lyons, McPherson, Mt. Hope, Newton, Pratt, Salina, St. John, Stafford, Sterling and Wichita.

Some papers, like the Kansas City Star, charge a fee to print graduation announcements. Sterling College is not responsible for that fee.
