Reunions are the cornerstone of alumni events and programs, and one of the strongest ways to reconnect and reminisce with friends from Sterling College. Reconnect with your Sterling College classmates. Rediscover what made Sterling "home" for you and renew your lifelong connection to this special place. Celebrate being a Warrior!

Homecoming Schedule of Events

50th Class Reunion Luncheon

Your Class of 1976 50th Reunion Luncheon will be held on Friday, October 2, at 11:00 AM -2:00 PM in the Heritage Room, located on the 3rd floor of Cooper Hall. Menu features “A Taste of the South” at $15 a person. This will be a special time set aside just for the Class of 1976 and spouses.

Whether or not you are able to return to Sterling for Homecoming, we want to hear from you! Please send us an updated photo or two along with a short biography or life update. Tell your classmates where life has taken you over the past 50 years—family, career, ministry, retirement, travel, hobbies, favorite Sterling College memories, or anything else you would enjoy sharing.

One Life Update booklet will be provided to each 1976 alumni registered for the reunion. Classmates who are unable to attend Homecoming may also request a copy, by emailing alumni@sterling.edu.

Please send your photos and Life Update to the Alumni Office at alumni@sterling.edu by September 25, 2026, so we have time to prepare the booklet before Homecoming.

Decade of the 70s Reunion Gathering

As part of the weekend, we are planning a special 1970s Decade Reunion Gathering on Friday, October 2, from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM, in Cooper Hall, 2nd Floor, just for you and your classmates. There is no cost to this event.

A room in Cooper Hall will be reserved throughout the afternoon as a place to reconnect, reminisce, and simply enjoy being together. Come for an hour or make this your home base for the afternoon.

We will have beverages and snacks, along with yearbooks to browse, a looping montage of photographs from the 1970s, and—of course—a playlist filled with music from the decade. We hope you will walk through the door and immediately find yourself remembering faces, places, professors, teammates, performances, late-night conversations, and more than a few stories that may have grown better with time!

We are also inviting former faculty, staff, and coaches who were part of Sterling during those years to join us. We plan to designate a specific time during the afternoon when as many of them as possible can be present, giving you an opportunity to reconnect with some of the people who made your Sterling experience so memorable.

If you would like lunch, the College cafeteria will be open. Grab a meal, visit around the table, and then head over to Cooper to continue the conversation.

    • Senior Discount (62+) – 10% off

For generations, the Sterling College Theatre Homecoming Musical has been one of the College's most beloved traditions—a weekend when alumni return home, friendships are renewed, and another generation of students takes the stage. This year, that tradition comes full circle as Sterling College Theatre presents its fourth production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, following memorable productions in 1971, 1987, and 2008.

If you were part of any of those productions—as a cast member, musician, crew member, or member of the production team—we invite you to return to campus for a special FIDDLER ON THE ROOF Reunion during Homecoming Weekend.
