Brown returns to Sterling College after serving as the director of virtual learning and instructional technology at Hutchinson Community College. Prior to that, he was the vice president for innovation and technology at Sterling from 2005 to 2011.

The future presents tremendous potential for Sterling College, and I am blessed to be able to take part in that progress as a servant leader, working alongside skilled and caring professionals who are here to serve Christ,” said Brown.
Brown earned his Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Higher Education Leadership from Kansas State University in 2004. He currently serves as president on the USD 376 Board of Education. He is married to Susan, and they have four children.
