For two and a half months now I have been living in Dodge City, KS. I am working full time in a very busy mixed animal veterinary practice with two other veterinarians. You can find me treating all kinds of animals at the Ripple and Liebl Veterinary Hospital. I have bought a house and am working on joining a church out here. - 2007-10-05

Hey, this is pretty cool. I just wanted to let you all know that I enjoy seeing the updates, and I miss getting to hang with y'all. I just purchaed a house in Kansas City, and am finishing my fourth year of teaching middle school math. I actually got Jimmy Thompson a job at my school, and he is finishing his second year. We are also actively recruiting Sarah Jaeger to teach there. If you are ever in KC, get ahold of me and you have a place to stay! Take care and God Bless!! - 2007-03-23

I am back from Uganda. I traveled to Karamoja, a region in the northeast of the country. My group worked with the Karamajong and tested for Brucellosis and Tuberculosis in the Cattle. For more information and for pics check out www.epivet.blogspot.com. We also worked with a local church and did some evangelism. We would pray with the villagers each morning before testing cattle. It was a wonderful, eye opening experience. Ugandan food is good too. - 2007-02-15

It has been a while since I last read any posts on the class notes. In 2 weeks I will be in Uganda on a mission trip for Christian Veterinary Mission. This is my second trip with this organization. I am currently in my Senior year at KSU vet school and doing my clinical rotations. My trip coresponds with a break rotation. I will Graduate in May with my DVM degree. I am looking for a job. So if you know any good rural, mixed animal clinics that need another vet, let me know. - 2007-01-12

Hey Michelle, I don't actually know you, but Cassie is my sister-in-law. They live in Wichita and she works for Equity Bank as the administrative assistant to the president of the bank. Jamie has his chiropractic office in Andover. They're doing really good. Here is her work email (I don't think she checks their personal email very often): cassies@equitywebbank.com - 2006-10-10

David and I have been married a little over two years and are living here in Los Angeles, California. It's crazy to think that we haven't been at Sterling for three year now! We are busy helping a family business (David's mom is an optometrist) and trying to reach out to our neighbors. David is searching for a job, but his greatest passion is Apologetics. He will probably start attending Biola University next fall to get his masters in Apologetics. He would like to be a teacher/writer/speaker. I am busy trying to help others understand the importance of helping children of the world. I am an advocate for Compassion International, always desiring more children to become linked with a loving sponsor. Check it out: www.compassion.com
If anyone is ever in the LA area, let us know! May we all live out this verse wherever we are: "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by His own authority. But you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8 - 2006-09-18

Jenn Wallman, No I haven't met Trisha Rucker, yet. It has been interesting to see how small the world is. There is a group of us from the ACCK league here. We have friendly rivalries. An update on other Sterlingites: Nathan Smith(02) is a 4th year and getting ready to graduate. Jen (Benhke)Phillips is finishing her second year. She and Chris are getting ready to go to Korea this summer. - 2006-05-01

My website is terribly lacking in new and exciting content, plus it needs some aesthetic attention as well. For those of you interested in up-to-date information about me and my wife Jaime, you can visit her blog (link below).
Jaime and I should start construction on our house in the next month or so. It is exciting. Hopefully we get some SC Alumni as visitors someday. - 2006-04-26

Hey Mr. Webpage Guy (Schechter), how about you update your website so we can see your NEW home?? :o)
Jenni Turner, do you happen to know another 3rd year vet student Trisha Rucker? I've known her since kindergarten. Thought that was kinda crazy the coincidence. - 2006-04-21

Well, I stumbled upon this while kicking around some very rare free time. I am in Manhattan, KS and in my 3rd year at vet school. In May I will start clinical rotations. I plan to graduate next year in May and hopefully find a job in a clinic somewhere. I am enjoying school especially now that the labs deal with live animals. I went on a mission trip to Haiti last June and plan to go on another trip next year during one of my vacations through a mission org. called Christian Veterinary Missions. - 2006-02-03

I now use this nifty class notes system that I developed as a soon-to-be outsider. (Hopefully someone will come in and make it better)
Jaime and I are moving to (near Middletown) Ohio where I will be working for PCC Internet Group, making websites and some other nerdy computer stuff. I trust everyone will come and visit.
The class of 2003 rules!

Wsup ya'll? It is so cool that we now have the ability to communicate and get updates on fellow classmates. Life is good, and I have been blessed. I am currently working as a Mental Health Therapist for the county, outside of Washington D.C., and will be receiving my Masters in Clinical Psychology within the next few months. However, I love school so much that I have decided to continue in the program, and will receive my Doctorate (PsyD) in 2008. D.C. is cool, but I miss Sterling, America and all the fond memories. I pray that each of you are blessed and strive for happiness. Peace. - 2005-11-12

Well this is really cool--good way to keep up with everyone in the class. After a year of teaching 2nd grade at Central Christian Academy in Wichita, Aaron & I are back in Sterling. We had a baby girl, Anna Rose, in June so I am now staying home to be a mommy (and I love it!). Even though Aaron still works at the college, I have the "I don't know anybody!" syndrome:o) Beth, my family just took a mini vacation to the Mall of America. I didn't realize you were still up there! Anyway, I hope all is well with everyone. - 2005-09-13

Greetings from Canton, Ohio!! After spending a year in KC teaching middle school, Mark and I were sent packing to the Buckeye state. Teaching didn't really suit me, so I am back at school working on my masters in Sport and Recreation Mgmt. at Kent State. I am also employed at Dick's Sporting Goods as a front-end manager - great discounts! Mark is almost finished with med school - by May he will be Dr. Reed! We are hoping for a Navy residency in Seattle or Florida. - 2005-09-04

Hello Everyone!! I was really excited to see that this class notes thing exists. I love to read about what is going on with everyone that I graduated with! I am living in Kansas, OK right now, teaching 2-5 grade math, reading, and science at a Christian school. I love being here and can''t wait to see what God has planned for this next school year! - 2005-08-04

Hi friends! Greetings from the frozen tundra! (although the summer months have been good this year!) I am still up in Minneapolis, MN keeping busy! I finished my Master's in Counseling Psych this past May and will finish up by next May with my LMFT! Feels good to almost be done with school! I haven't made it back to SC lately, but my sister is currently a student and keeps me posted! I pray each of you is being blessed abundantly! Fun to hear how God has taken all of us from small-town Kansas to touch HIS great big world! - 2005-07-05

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing very well! I have spent the last year in Chicago, having a great time experiencing the city and now I am heading to Australia. I met my boyfriend, Jamie, in Chicago and he is Australian and wanted me to meet his family...so off I go! My parents were very kind and invited me home to save my money for the trip, so I've been in Sterling since September. I am a daycare teacher at Hutchinson High School and I love working with the kids! I am leaving for Australia on June 18th. I am really excited about the trip and I hope I can stay for at least 6 months traveling all over the country. I love you all and you are in my prayers.

I found out about this class notes thing from Dorinda Gates. She was here in Lawrence today (where I am living at home still) sharing about Gospel for Asia at my church. It was great to see her and catch up on all the latest news. So, I am working as a special ed. para at a local preschool and also at a bookstore/coffee shop here in Lawrence. I love both jobs, but needing something more full time. I still make it back to Sterling very often, having a sister and a boyfriend (Sean Lee) who are both there:) So, I haven't quite experienced that feeling of not knowing anyone anymore when I go back. Give me a while to make the transition. Ok, well, let me know what YOU are up to classmates :)
God is good all the time. - 2005-04-17
