Victoria, Tex. - The Sterling College Warrior baseball team went 1-3 on a spring break series with the University of Houston-Victoria in Victoria, Texas over Sterling's spring break. Sterling played in three close games, all losses, before blowing out UHV in the final game 10-2. The Warriors are 12-11 so far in 2011 and 4-0 in the KCAC.
Hutchinson, Kan. - In the final game of the first day of the Sterling College Softball Tournament, the Sterling College Lady Warriors defeated the College of Saint Mary (Neb.) 7-3. The Lady Warriors used a six run fourth inning and a strong pitching performance from Courtney Bell to earn the victory.
Hutchinson, Kan. - The Sterling College Lady Warriors lost their opening game of the Sterling College Softball Tournament to Graceland University on Friday morning in Hutchinson, Kansas. Sterling was defeated 6-1 by a Graceland team that held Sterling scoreless after the first inning.
Kansas City, Kan. - Zach Goodrich of Sterling College has been named to the 2011 NAIA Division II Men's Basketball All-America Second Team for the first time. The NAIA announced the All-America Teams this afternoon on the NAIA website. Goodrich finished his playing career for Sterling this season.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.

Sioux City, Iowa - Britany Gasper starred in her final game as a Sterling College Lady Warrior, scoring 29 points in the 103-66 loss to top seeded Northwestern College (Iowa). Northwestern was on fire from the field in the game, shooting 0.576 from the field and 0.545 from the three point line. Point Lookout, MO - The Sterling College Warriors battled and nearly beat the Eagles of Oklahoma Wesleyan University in a two day marathon that spanned Thursday night and Friday morning. In the overtime game, OWU's Sadiel Rojas single handedly lead the Eagles to victory scoring 42 points and pulling down 23 rebounds in the 81-82 loss for Sterling. Zach Goodrich led the Warriors in his final game for Sterling College, scoring 19 points and pulling down three rebounds to cap off a phenomenal career.
