Deb Wiebe

 Deb was born and raised here in Sterling, Kansas. She graduated from Sterling high school and attended Hutchinson Community College. She now lives in Sterling with her husband, Curt and together have two children, Brenna and Derek as well as their grandaughter, Morgan. Brenna is married to SC Alumni, Brandon Winn.

Deb started working in the athletic department in 1995 and can truly say, "This has been the most rewarding job I’ve ever had.  Getting to know the student athletes and working with a great coaching staff truly makes for the best job!"

Will Teufel

A former public school teacher, Will made the decision to work in higher education by working for Sterling College. His favorite aspect of Sterling College is the friendly campus atmosphere and the privilege of helping adult learners reach their educational goals. In his spare time, Will enjoys family time, writing and arranging music, playing instruments, web design, and computing.

Mitzi Suhler

Mitzi attended Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  Mitzi is married, lives in Lyons and has 3 children. She enjoys reading, doing crafts and being with her family.

Dr. Scott Rich

Scott Rich has been Sterling College's president since 2013. Rich joined the College in 2008, serving as chief financial officer where he provided leadership and oversaw finance, human resources, physical plant among other obligations, before being inaugurated as Sterling's 12th president.

Before the College, Rich has served in a variety of leadership and management roles in both the for-profit and non-profit world. He brings with him a rich understanding of budget and production management and financial reporting. 

Justin Morris

Justin Morris enters his fifth year as the Director of Athletics after serving as Assistant Athletic Director for seven years and the head coach of the women's soccer team for twenty years. In the spring of 2021, Morris was promoted to Associate Vice President for Athletics and Facility Management. His responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the athletic department, the physical plant, and the facilities on campus and continuing Sterling's strong community support through local partnerships.

Carrie McGlynn

Carrie caught the contagious Sterling College "bug" from her husband when he couldn't stop talking about the wonderful experiences that he had as a former Sterling College student. Soon she became hooked as well. Carrie enjoys working as the Assistant Director of Admissions because it allows her to promote all the wonderful things that Sterling College has to offer to students.

Vicky Kirchoff

Vicky is a lifelong resident of Sterling. She came to Sterling College in 1992 in the Housekeeping department and is currently the Physical Plant Office Manager. Vicky enjoys building relationships with students that last long past graduation. She believes that Sterling College is a wonderful place to grow as a Christian whether you are a student or an employee.

Michelle Hall

After her mom went to Sterling College before her, Michelle could only picture herself attending Sterling as well. Fourteen years later, she is working for Sterling College and has been here for 25 years and loving every day! Michelle works as the Chief Financial Officer in the Business office. She loves the energy and the quality of students that are enrolled at Sterling College. She finds the Christian, caring, helpful,and encouraging work place to be just the ideal place to make you want to come to work every day. Michelle doesn’t currently have any hobbies—she claims to just work all of the time! She is married and has 2 children, both graduates of Sterling, and a dog, Holly.

Dennis Dutton

Dennis came to Sterling as a student over 30 years ago. He was interested in finding a college with a strong Christian perspective as well as a strong theatre program, communications program and a place where he sensed a committed community-and Sterling was it.
