Step 1:
All Students

  • Fill out our free online application here.

Step 2:

High School Students (Public & Private)

  • Send a PDF of your high school transcript to admissions@sterling.edu. Grades through your junior year must be included.
  • Request official scores (ACT/SAT/CLT) to be sent to Sterling if needed for admission (see above requirements) or scholarship purposes.
    • The school code for ACT is 1466 and for the SAT is 6684.

Homeschool Students

  • Send a PDF of your academic transcript that includes a cumulative GPA to admissions@sterling.edu. Grades through your junior year must be included.
  • Request official scores (ACT/SAT/CLT) to be sent to Sterling if needed for admission (see above requirements) or scholarship purposes.
    • The school code for ACT is 1466 and for the SAT is 6684.

Transfer Students

  • Send a PDF copy of your transcript from all colleges you’ve attended, including from any colleges where you earned dual credit during high school.
  • Details about how credits are transferred are outlined on transfer students page.

GED Recipients

  • Official General Education Development certificate
  • Request official scores (ACT/SAT/CLT) to be sent to Sterling if needed for admission (see above requirements) or scholarship purposes.
