Brief Synopsis: Following a study by Jennifer Rothschild, we will be examining our thought life as women—what lies/beliefs/thoughts do we “clothe” ourselves with every day? We will be learning to replace those old ways of thinking with the truth of what God’s word says about who we are as daughters of the King.

Men Fellowship and Movies

Brief Synopsis: The movies we'll be watching are "Invictus", with Morgan Freeman, and a "Perfect World", with Clint Eastwood. By holding discussions, we will primarily focus on building fellowship, unity and community between the men's dorms on campus and how one can build stronger bridges and bonds between other men on campus.

1 John Bible Study

Brief Synopsis: This study is aimed to dive into the scripture of 1 John and how to apply it to daily life, specifically as men.

Godly women in a Secular World
Bible Study leaders: Amber Balvin, Kadi Smith, and Kimberly Garrett

Location: McCreery Basement
Brief Synopsis: This study will look at the lies that the world tells us as women.  We will be looking at how to defend those lies spiritually and emotionally through Scripture and prayer.

Ephesians: The "Now-Power" of the Gospel

Location: X second floor lobby
Brief Synopsis: This study of Ephesians will focus on discovering the practicality of the Gospel and how it not only saves us from our past and for the future, but it also saves us in the present. We will unlock the mystery of the Gospel, discuss many misconceptions surrounding it, and reveal what it means daily for us as Christian women.

Love Sterling

Brief Synopsis: We will experience practical components of the Gospel message as we plan Love Sterling 2013. This is a time to take action in our faith, serving the campus and the community.
