Jump Start Days
New Student Enrollment
Late Enrollments: Please fill out the registration form. Any registrations received after July 31 will be enrolled beginning August 6 and the student will receive an email with their schedule and can connect with their advisor once on campus.

The purpose of a Jump Start Day is to:
- Meet your advisor and review your Fall class schedule
- Learn about becoming an SC student
- Finalize financial aid and student account
- Complete new student registration steps and trainings
You have the option to participate by coming to campus or, if you can’t make it to campus, you may participate through a phone appointment.

2026 Jump Start Days
- Friday, April 17 - campus only
- Registration deadline: April 3
- Friday, April 29 - campus only
- Registration deadline: April 20
- Thursday, May 14 - campus & phone
- Registration deadline: May 4
- Registration deadline: May 4
The Jump Start Days will begin at 11:30am with check-in and lunch in the Student Union, followed by a "Jumping Into SC" session that will begin promptly at 12:30pm. Individual enrollment appointments and registration steps will begin at 1:15pm (CST) and follow in the afternoon until 5pm. Please plan accordingly. Students wishing to enroll by phone will receive instructions on completing new student registration steps.
To register & participate in a Jump Start Day, you must:
- Have applied and been accepted to Sterling College
- Pay your Housing Deposit (Deposits must be paid before you register for Jump Start Day)
