McCreery Hall, built in 1957, is located on the northeast corner of campus and enjoys a picturesque view of Cooper Hall.
This women's dorm has the capacity for 100 students. The rooms are arranged in two-room suites which can accommodate up to four women.
Career Services offers one-on-one counseling appointments to help students identify their interests, abilities, values, and motivations when choosing their career path and/or major. Career assessments are available for use during this process.
Visit the Career Services office to discuss successful interviewing, including how to prepare and what to wear. Mock interviews can also be arranged for those who want to practice their interviewing skills.
General Information About H1N1 Flu
The H1N1 outbreak continues to grow in the United States and internationally. This flu is a respiratory disease caused by a type-A influenza virus strain and is very contagious. We are monitoring flu-like activity at Sterling College and encourage you to take precautions in an attempt to avoid the flu.
Obtaining a community borrower card
- Persons age 15 or older may apply for a community borrower card at the Mabee Library Circulation Desk.
- Persons ages 15-18 must have a parent or guardian sign the application form. Bring a driver’s license.

The Sterling College Debate & Forensics Team is a competitive communication organization. Students actively compete in intercollegiate speech and debate tournaments both regionally and nationally. We are members of the National Forensic Association (NFA), the American Forensic Association (AFA), Pi Kappa Delta (PKD) and the National Parliamentary Debate Association (NPDA), competing in each of the associations' national tournaments.
