The Sterling Teacher Education Program is associated with several organizations and resource centers. Education faculty members serve as facilitators for two groups who provide guidance for the licensure programs, the Teacher Education Advisory Council (TEAC) and Teacher Education Committee (TEC). The Program is affiliated with two educational consortiums, the Associated Colleges of Central Kansas (ACCK) and Educational Services and Staff Development Association of Central Kansas (ESSDACK), which provide educational opportunities to faculty and students. Professional association memberships include National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), Kansas Association of Colleges of Teacher Education (KACTE), and Kansas Association of Private Colleges of Teacher Education (KAPCOTE).
