Spirit of Sterling Alumni Award

The Spirit of Sterling Alumni Award is given to a Sterling College graduate who has demonstrated sustained excellence in career, service to others, and loyalty to Sterling College.

2019 - Jamie “J.C.” Chambers ’83 (posthumous) and Ronald A. Raglin ’84 (posthumous)

Entrepreneurial Excellence Award

The Entrepreneurial Excellence Award is given to a Sterling graduate, a servant leader entrepreneur who has proven success in business – profit or non-profit – and demonstrates a commitment to ethical leadership in the marketplace.

Stem Distinction Award

The Stem Distinction Award is given to a Sterling graduate who works in the Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field that has achieved significant success in their professional role, and encourages a Christian worldview while discovering innovations and best practices in their field.

Excellence in Scholarship Award

The Excellence in Scholarship Award is given to a Sterling graduate who has excelled in scholarship, in or outside the academy, and encourages learning and study from a biblical worldview.

Excellence in Business Award

The Excellence in Business Award is given to a Sterling graduate who has distinguished themselves in the business field while also integrating Christian values and servant leadership principles and ethics in the marketplace.

Excellence in Ministry Award

The Excellence in Ministry Award is given to a Sterling graduate who has distinguished themselves through service and leadership in the church, missions or ministry-related organization.
