Sterling College has signed 19 new partnership agreements, known as the Guaranteed Admission Advantage, over the past year. These partnership agreements have been formed with 18 Kansas community colleges and with Hesston College. Dr. Gregory Kerr, vice president of academic affairs, crafted the agreement to give transfer students a seamless transition to Sterling College and Sterling College Online.
It is easy to spot a freshman in a college cafeteria as they wander around trying to learn the ropes. This fall, every student at Sterling College will look like a freshman as they learn to navigate the newly expanded and renovated cafeteria and menu options.
The Dean’s List for the spring of 2012 semester has been released. Criteria for the Dean’s List include the completion of at least 12 graded credit hours and a cumulative and semester GPA of 3.5 or better.
Seven students celebrated Memorial Day by performing at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall along with approximately 300 singers from colleges and churches around the country.
The number of majors now offered is increasing this fall. The communication and theatre arts department will offer three distinct majors, allowing students to specialize in theatre arts, communications and media arts, or speech and theatre education.
