Sterling, Kan. - In dramatic fashion, the Sterling College Lady Warriors Women's Soccer Team advanced to the Semi-Final Round of the 2010 KCAC Tournament with a shoot-out victory over McPherson. Leavenworth, Kan. - On the road, the Sterling College Warrior Football team came away with a victory over the University of Saint Mary Spires in Leavenworth by a score of 21-13. The Sterling defense held Saint Mary to -4 yards rushing and 301 yards of total offense to help the Warriors come out with a victory. Saint Mary mistakes were a large factor in the game, as the Spires had 65 yards in penalties.
Sterling, Kan. - This last weekend in Oklahoma, the Sterling College Warriors Men's Basketball team started the 2010-11 Basketball Season with a 1 win, 1 loss road trip. In their first game of the weekend, Sterling lost a close game to MidAmerican Christian University 84-78. The Warriors rebounded in the second game, beating Langston University 61-49.
York, Neb. - The Sterling College Lady Warriors traveled to York, Nebraska to play the York College Panthers on Saturday, November 6th. In their first game of the 2010-2011 Women's Basketball season, the Lady Warriors defeated the Panthers 69-57 in a game that was not as close as the final score.
Sterling, Kan. - Megan and Laura Patrick combined for 46 points as the Sterling College Lady Warriors dominated Doane College on Monday night in the Gleason Center. Sterling used a 31 for 57 night from the floor along with holding Doane to 15 of 53 from the floor to earn an impressive 84-43 home opening victory.
Ottawa, Kan. - On Tuesday night in Ottawa, the Sterling College Lady Warriors Women's Soccer Team was knocked out of the 2010 KCAC Women's Soccer Tournament by Ottawa University 2-0. Ottawa used 38 shots with 16 being on target to overcome the Lady Warriors who played from the defensive end most of the match.
Olathe, Kan. - At the MidAmerica Nazarene Classic, the Sterling College Men's Basketball Team dropped their first game of the classic against Benedictine College 64-45.
Concordia, Neb. - The Sterling College Women's Basketball Team dropped a close game to Concordia University in Concordia, Nebraska on Friday night. In a game that was back and forth, Concordia came out on top 65-59 to give the Sterling Women their first loss of the 2010-11 season.
Sterling, Kan. - On Senior Night in Sterling, Kansas, the Sterling College Warrior Football Team sent their ten senior members out with a bang. Sterling pounded the ground for over 400 yards rushing on their way to a 62-14 stomping of the Bethel College Threshers. With the win and the loss by Friends University earlier this afternoon, Sterling wrapped up sole possession of third place in the KCAC Final Standings.
Sterling, Kan. - The Sterling College Volleyball Team had three players earn All-Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Honors during the 2010 season. Brooke Denton earned First Team All-KCAC honors, Sara Steria earned Second Team All-KCAC honors, and Adriana Gonzalez earned All-KCAC Honorable Mention.
