Personnel from 34 school districts across Kansas gathered at Bethany College for the annual ACCK Teacher Interview Day, where students participated in 25-minute interviews as they competed for open teaching positions in the school districts represented.

Six months after the formation of Sterling College’s chapter of Phi Beta Lambda, three of its members will make their way the PBL National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas, in June, where students from across the country will compete by putting their business knowledge to the test.

The Sterling College Chorale left today for their annual choir tour around the southwest United States. The Chorale will make fourteen stops on their annual Spring Break tour, beginning on Thursday, March 8 and continuing through Thursday, March 15.

Taylor Fair, a senior at Sterling High School in Sterling, Kan., and Johannah Borchard, a home-schooled student from Minneola, Kan., were announced winners of the Sterling College Trustee Scholarship based on their efforts in three phases of academic competition held on February 18.

Juniors Lynette Bosch of Wichita, Kan., and Kaitlynne Turner of Washington, Kan., have been named Teachers of Promise by the Kansas State Department of Education.

This weekend at the Kansas Individual Events and Parliamentary Championship, the Sterling College Debate Team captured the state championship title.
